World Congress for Jewish Studies in Jerusalem 2022

During the World Congress for Jewish Studies taking place at the Mount Scopus campus of Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Elías Salgado, the driving force behind Amazonia Judaica presented us with the book stemming from the Congress which had been held in November 2021. This chapter, the very last one in the book, in the musical section of the studies, is an exciting way to finish a valuable book of a very little studied area of Judaism, that of Jews in the Amazon, and the manner in which the oral traditions, sounds and voices of a territory across the ocean has penetrated into the heart of the Amazonía. The full chapter can be found open access on my academia.edu page here https://www.academia.edu/85003667/Ajena_tanto_a_la_una_como_a_la_otra_cosa_la_integraci%C3%B3n_del_%C3%A1rabe_y_hebreo_a_la_tonada_jaquet%C3%ADa_por_la_mujer_seg%C3%BAn_Jos%C3%A9_Benoliel_fil%C3%B3logo_Tangerino
